Kate’s Transportation LLC is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company, here to provide transportation services to those in need. Kate’s Transportation LLC is in business to establish a first-class NEMT service company that will take care of the residents in this community (and most of Michigan) who are in need of our services.

Our vans are clean, comfortable, and ADA compliant with licensed chauffeurs. In addition, a thorough background and driving record screening is completed on every driver. Here at Kate’s Transportation LLC, we have a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and/or alcohol for our drivers. Your privacy and safety is our number one concern and we will do everything we can do to ensure this.

We provide door to door assistance to our clients by getting you in and out of the vehicle from your door and to your appointment. A friend, family member, or caregiver is more than welcome to ride along as well

A message from our founder:

Working as a Registered Nurse since 2012, I have seen over the years the need for transportation for those who are handicapped and decided it was time to help the community. I started Kate’s Transportation in March 2019, making it a priority to help as many people as I can so they no longer have to miss important doctor appointments or special events that mean so much to them and helping their loved ones with transportation services that not everyone is able to provide them with.

I strive to get your loved ones where they need to go, both safely and on time. If there are ever any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Complaint Policy

All customer complaints are dealt with fairly and promptly and all issues are resolved as quickly as possible. In dealing with any complaint, it is our goal to have our customers feel that we have handled their concern in a courteous, prompt, and professional manner. Any complaint raised is recorded and documented in full. If your complaint has not been resolved following immediate contact with you, the complaint is then actively investigated and a comprehensive response or update is sent to the customer within 20 business days of the receipt of the complaint. Any subsequent or follow-up inquiries received will continue to be dealt with by the person appointed to look after your complaint until we issue the results of our investigation. We will attempt to resolve your complaint within 40 days. If you are still not satisfied, you may file a complaint with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).

Alcohol/Drug Policy

It is a violation of company policy for any employee to use, possess, sell, convey, distribute, or manufacture illegal drugs, intoxicants, or controlled substances, or to attempt to do the same.

It is a violation of company policy to use or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs anytime during hours of business operation while on or using company property.
